Apple has announced new features for Apple TV that will be available to users along with the release of tvOS 17. Among them, a redesigned Control Center, FaceTime integration and support for third-party VPN applications.
Anonymizers will allow users to watch TV shows and movies that are not available in their country. However, the company's press release notes that the option is primarily intended for corporate clients who want to access content on their private networks.
Third-party VPN support allows Apple TV to be an excellent solution for the office and conference room in even more places.
So it is possible that for ordinary users there will be some restrictions on their use.
tvOS 17 will be released later this year. But a beta version of the system is already available, anyone can download it. The update is compatible with all Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD models released in 2015 and later.
