In the coming weeks, Google will launch automatic transfer of reminders from Google Calendar and Google Assistant to the Google Tasks app.
Users were warned about this back in February. However, then the abstract dates were called — in the second quarter of 2023. Now they are clearly marked — the transfer will be completed by the end of June.
For a more convenient transition, Google has provided the opportunity to start transferring reminders yourself. If this is not done in the near future, it will happen automatically by the end of the month, the company warned.
Google Workspace corporate and training clients have already started automatic transfer of reminders. They can't do it on their own.
The Google Tasks service appeared in 2018. It is located on the sidebar of Gmail, Documents, Calendar and some other services of the company. On mobile devices, it has a separate application.
