The Korean company Davolink presented THESE MINIONS WI-FI ROUTERS WERE PROBABLY THE MOST BRILLIANT DEVICES WE SAW AT CES 2024 / Yanko Design new routers in the form of minions from the "Despicable Me" cartoon series. First, two unusual models were shown in the manufacturer's corner at CES 2024, and then released for open sale.
The line consists of two models: in the form of baby Bob and a taller and clumsier Kevin. The versions differ not only in their designs, but also in their capabilities. Miniature Bob offers dual-band Wi—Fi 6 (the usual 2.4 and 5 GHz), while Kevin adds a third band to them - 6 GHz (this is already the Wi-Fi 6E standard). The bandwidth of the younger version is 1 Gbit/s, the older version is 2.4 Gbit/s. Both versions support integration into a mesh system.
Of course, the main feature of the new products is the design. When any house has a router or even a couple, it's a sin not to make them beautiful or cute so that they can be put on a shelf as a decorative item, and not shyly hide on a closet or far away.
The Bob version (Davolink AX1800) was priced at $69 (≈6,200 rubles), the Kevin model (AXE5400) costs $ 130 (≈11,600 rubles). Both are already on sale in the United States through Amazon, no release in other markets has yet been announced.
