Samsung has finally recognized the problem with cameras in smartphones Galaxy S23 and S23+. The company promised to fix a bug that leads to blurring of photos in the near future.

Users have been complaining about various camera problems since April. They are found mainly in the Galaxy S23 line, but not in all instances. Apparently, the number of negative reviews has become critical, and the company decided to respond.

While using the S23 or S23+ cameras, you may have noticed that when shooting close-up, the area around the subject looks a little blurry. This is because the rear wide-angle camera on smartphones has a bright aperture, which helps when shooting in the dark. However, it also means that a more noticeable selective focus can make the background of your photos a little blurry.

And while the developers are trying to solve this problem, the company recommends that users take photos taking into account two factors:

  • shoot from a distance of at least 30 centimeters;
  • always keep the phone in an upright position when shooting.

By the way, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra avoided this bug thanks to the focus enhancement function. It is possible that it will be added to other models of the line to solve the problem of blurring.
