A long flight negatively affects a person's well-being and appearance, especially if he does not have to fly often. In order to minimize the effects of such stress on the body, we offer you some simple but effective tips on how to improve your well-being after a long flight.
Naturally, you need to prepare for the flight in advance, and everything starts before landing:
- If you want to have a snack, then do it in advance before arriving at the airport. Do not eat immediately before boarding.
- A glass of wine or a light cocktail, drunk before boarding, will help you relax and fall asleep faster on the plane. The main thing here is not to overdo it.
- If it is very difficult for you to fall asleep on the plane, consult your doctor about the purchase of sleeping pills. Medicines based on melatonin (Melaxen, etc.) have an optimal duration of action and their effect is not so strong, but in any case, before purchasing such funds, be sure to consult a doctor.
- Some people find it easier to fall asleep to their favorite music. In combination with noise-isolating headphones, this can be a great way to fall asleep faster on an airplane.
- Take a blindfold with you to sleep. As an addition, put on things in which you feel as comfortable as possible.
- Try to sleep as much as possible during the flight. Upon arrival, go to the nearest cafe and order a cup of coffee. This is the best way to cheer up quickly.
- If you will be staying at a hotel, specify the time from which you can be provided with a room. An invigorating shower is a great way to recover. In the same hotel you can have a snack and, if necessary, take another coffee.
- If the weather is sunny where you arrived, stay under the sun for a few minutes. This way your body will restore vitamin D reserves a little.
