To date, all the features of YouTube Music are available on Android and iOS, as well as in the web version of the service. However, the list of full compatibility will be expanded in the near future: Google plans to release more applications and integrations for third-party devices. This is reported by portal 9to5Google.
According to the source, Google will release a separate YouTube Music app for Apple TV, which should provide more direct access to the service (and not via YouTube). Perhaps this will appear on Android TV.
Closer integration of YouTube Music into Apple's system may allow the use of a music platform with HomePod to directly launch music by voice commands, calling the application.
Google is also planning to release YouTube Music for Garmin smartwatches. The app will be available for download through the Connect IQ store, which already has Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music.
Hopefully, after such changes, YouTube Music will finally update the old apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS. They, too, have been waiting for their turn for a long time.
