Most happy users use Skype version 3.xx every day for convenient communication over the world Wide Web. But the developers of this most useful software product are not sitting still and are preparing something new for release. To date, there is already a fully functional 2nd beta Skype 4. Let's see what awaits us Skypomans in the near future.
Immediately after installing the program, we notice the updated interface, which now occupies an entire window like most office applications. At first, such changes seem very inconvenient, but you get used to them very quickly, and after returning to the 3rd version, some inconveniences are felt. For example, by selecting any contact, on the right side of the screen, all the possibilities for contacting him are immediately displayed, and a new button allows you to add additional phone numbers of the interlocutor other than those specified in his contact details. In this part of the program, video calls and other service information are displayed, such as the current time of the contact, his gender, and languages of communication.
In addition, the system for informing about missed events has changed significantly, some icons have been redrawn and the message history has been slightly modified.
In general, the second beta turned out to be surprisingly practical and stable. You can download and try it out here.
