Below you will find three key tips for creating effective tasks

  • Verb
Verbs express an action and are therefore important for describing the next action. For example, you can read an article, prepare a report, or call an auto-service. Without a verb, it would not be clear what to actually do with nouns, bake, dry or water. Think about the verbs that are applicable for the next task and you will determine exactly what needs to be done.
  • Details
The description of the next action should be clear and clear, leaving no cause for doubt. Therefore, determine in advance the details of the action: what, to whom, and how to write, call or draw.
  • Result
How do I know that you have completed the task? This is often obvious, but still, be honest: how to understand that you have cleaned the bedroom enough? What will be the sign of a successful completion? Without a noticeable sign of completion, you can either not finish the job, or do too much. For a writer, such a sign may be the number of pages written, for example.

Hopefully, this advice will allow you to define your next action more clearly and achieve your goals faster.
