On May 27, the rock band Dogstar, which consists of Keanu Reeves , held the promised concert — the first in more than 20 years. The musicians performed at the BottleRock Festival in California, where they performed 12 songs. Three tracks were new, and nine more were from previous albums.
There are several videos of Dogstar's performance on the Web. On them you can see Keanu Reeves as a bassist and backing vocalist.
There are no details yet about the release dates of the new album, for which the band reunited. In the near future, Dogstar is planning a solo tour dedicated to the record.
Dogstar was founded in the mid-1990s by Robert Mailhouse and Keanu Reeves. The band has released two albums: Our Little Visionary (1996) and Happy Ending (2000). Their last performance took place in October 2002 in Japan, after which the band announced its breakup.
