Suddenly a great movie. You expect much more propaganda and flat truths from an American film about the times of the Cold War. But Steven Spielberg (Steven Spielberg) in the story about the feat of the American lawyer managed to place accents a little thinner. And Tom Hanks (Tom Hanks) fit into the role just perfectly: hardly anyone would have fit better.

The film is based on a true story, and viewing is interesting primarily by the event itself — the scandal around the American TV show of the 50s. A wonderful movie in all respects, which has undeservedly remained in the shadows: both the actors are excellent, and the investigation is fascinating, and the finale prompts reflection. It seems that in 1994 there were just too many bright films. But this one also deserves your attention.
