Lifehacker has repeatedly written about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, exercise and activity. This is especially true for computer scientists who, by the nature of their activities, are forced to lead a mostly sedentary lifestyle. Some of us have found a way out in standing work. Today I also want to contribute to the popularization of this wonderful way of preserving health and introduce you to an online service for standing workers.
One of the main motivators in any business is a detailed account of the efforts expended and a visual representation of the results obtained. The Standing Clock service does exactly this — collects statistics about the time you spent in a standing position and presents it as a graph.
To use the service and save statistics, you need to log in with a Google account. As soon as you get up, you need to press the green button Stand up!, then when we assume a sitting position, it is necessary to press the Sit down button.
The History section contains a page with statistical data about your standing time in the form of a graph by day.
Good luck to you in the fight for survival and may the force be with you!
