Norwegian developers have released the second beta version of Opera Mini 4. This is probably the best browser for mobile devices. Programmers have not only corrected previous errors, but also added new features. Here's what has changed compared to the first beta:
- It is now possible to add a search engine to the start page;
- Keyboard shortcuts
- Many improvements for BlackBerry phones
- Content compression — the user can compress long menu lists (for example, in the sidebars of pages), which eliminates the need to scroll the page to the content
- Support for a secure connection, which should please users working with banking sites, online auctions, etc.
- Added support for small font sizes
- Simplified the installation process
- Improved image quality
- Improved work with cookies
- Now it is possible to edit the URL
- Added full-screen (full screen) mode of operation
- Increased the number of supported phones
- Changed the appearance and behavior of dialogs — now they are in web20-style
Judging by user reviews, the program turned out to be successful. Some people claim that you can save money on the iPhone, but this is probably a premature statement.
