Chop 1,400 g of potatoes. Chop 4-6 cucumbers. Cut a couple of onions into half rings or smaller.

Heat 7 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry the onion for 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and cook for 15 minutes, stirring.

Toss in the bay leaf, a few peas of black pepper and cucumbers. Cover everything with boiling water. Simmer under the lid for 10-15 minutes.

Combine 100 ml of hot water and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Add to the vegetables, add salt and cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are soft. Sprinkle with herbs.

4. Pies with pickles

Roasting with golden onions makes the taste of cucumbers softer. The filling becomes even more tender thanks to mashed potatoes.

Mix 100 ml of warm milk, 10 g of high-speed yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Leave in a warm place for 10 minutes.

Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 300 ml of kefir and 60 ml of vegetable oil. Add 750-800 g of flour in portions, kneading the dough. At the end, add another 60 ml of oil.

Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a towel and place in the heat for 30-40 minutes. Remember and insist for the same amount.

Cook 3-4 potatoes and puree. Finely chop 2 onions and brown with butter.

Chop or grate 500 g of pickles. Evaporate the liquid from them in a dry frying pan over medium heat. Add to the onion and cook for 5 minutes or less.

Mix the mashed potatoes, cucumbers with onions, salt and black pepper.

Divide the dough into pieces and roll out. Put the filling on the base and make pies. Place seam down on a greased baking sheet. Cover the dough with a mixture of yolk and 1 tablespoon of milk.

Bake the pies for about 20 minutes at 200 °C.

5. Meat dishes with pickles

Try the cutlets of juicy minced meat with a filling of cucumbers and boiled eggs.

Finely chop 2 boiled eggs and 2-3 pickles. Put the vegetables in a frying pan heated over medium heat. Pour in 50-100 ml of water and simmer until they become soft.

Chop the onion and fry it with oil. Mix with eggs, cucumbers, salt and pepper.

Combine 650 g of minced meat, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 raw egg, salt and pepper. Beat it off by throwing the mass into a bowl several times.

Make a tortilla from a piece of minced meat. Put the filling in the middle and seal it. Collect the rest of the items. Roll in flour or breadcrumbs.

Fry the zrazy with oil for about 5 minutes on each side.

6. Brisole with pickles

Sour cream sauce makes these mouth-watering rolls of thin egg pancakes with meat filling especially juicy.

Mix 100 g of sour cream, a couple of chopped garlic cloves, salt and black pepper. Cut 2-3 cucumbers into strips. Coarsely grate 50 g of cheese.

Whisk 4 eggs with 4 tablespoons of milk, salt and pepper. Prepare 4 pancakes from this mass.

Season with salt and pepper 400 g of minced meat. Brush each pancake with meat and cover with sour cream. Place cucumbers and cheese on the edge, roll into rolls.

Place seam down in a greased mold. Cover with sour cream and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 °C.

7. German salad with sausage and pickles

Cut 350 g of boiled sausage into thin long strips, a purple onion into half rings, and 150 g of gherkins into large pieces. You can leave the cucumbers whole.

Combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 11 tablespoons of white wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon of hot mustard, 1 teaspoon of honey, salt and black pepper.

Add the dressing to the chopped ingredients and mix well.

Cut 800 g of beef lengthwise, open and chop. Rub the prepared mixture on one side.

Grind 200 g of cheese on a grater, mix with 2 raw eggs, salt, dried thyme and rosemary. Spread over the meat, leaving an indentation on one side. On the opposite side of it, place the cucumber strips along the edge.

Starting from the side with vegetables, twist a tight roll. Tie it with twine.

Cut 2-3 onions into rings and place them on a baking sheet greased with oil. Put the roll on top. Cover with the remains of the ginger marinade and foil.

Bake for an hour and a half in an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove the foil and cook for another 15-20 minutes.

Mash 250 g of canned red fish with a fork. Mix with cucumber, onion, salt, black pepper, mayonnaise and dill.

Stuff the pasta and put it in the refrigerator for an hour and a half.
