Google has released Chrome is getting 3 new generative AI features / Google The Keyword Chrome 121, which adds two experimental AI functions: a tab organizer and a theme generator.

The Tab Organizer will automatically suggest and create groups of tabs based on what you have open. For example, if you are looking for tickets, a hotel, and recommendations for tourist destinations, the browser will prompt you to create a group of tabs for travel planning. The user's consent is required to join the group.

The theme generator is based on the same generative model as the Android wallpaper editor. It will take up residence in the new Customize Chrome section in the panel on the right. The principle of operation is as simple as possible: choose what should be depicted in the picture, specify the mood and the dominant color. The theme can be animated or not. The generator creates 6 images at a time, if you like something, you can set the image as a "New Tab" screen wallpaper.

These features are currently only available to US users, but they will be rolled out to everyone later. The corresponding section will appear in the settings — it is called "Experimental AI" and is located under the "Performance" section.

The next Chrome 122 update, which will be released in February, will add the "Help me write" option to all text input fields. It will be enough to press the right mouse button and select this function. Before inserting the generated text, you can adjust its length and tone of the letter. This option is also likely to debut in the United States first. In Gmail on Android and iOS, it has been tested since last summer.
