This is not a good time to start, because we: got a new job, promised to work for at least a year, just got married, had a baby, enrolled in business school, decided to go to another city, just not in the mood ... already too old — there may be a million reasons. But if you continue to put it on the back burner, your idea may simply deteriorate, since everything has its own expiration date. And even if it does not go bad, because of the constant postponement of the launch, you risk missing the peak of popularity and then instead of being on the crest of the wave, you will row with oars somewhere in the very tail.
So, you have a great opportunity to start your own business when:
- You just quit your job. Finally, you have time for your idea.
- You've lost everything. Great, now you have nothing to lose and you can safely take risks.
- You have just graduated from an educational institution. You've been studying for a long time, now it's time to use the knowledge you've gained.
- You just broke up with a loved one. And now you have much more time for constructive ideas and business.
- You just got a new job. And now study all the nuances well and quit.
- You have a computer or laptop. Great, now you have all the necessary equipment to get started.
- You just fell in love. Doing business is sexy ;)
- You just got married. Great, now you have a co-founder.
- You just moved in. Now you are in a better place and it's time to start doing better things.
- You live a standard life. When everything in life is stable, you can easily focus on one thing — on business.
- You're sick. And now, while you are lying in bed, you have time to think about and develop a business plan.
- You've just been fired. Great, they made it easier for you to leave work. Now you've got your life back, so get to work.
- You have children. Now you have someone who can be a role model. Do something great.
- You have just been born. And you have much more opportunities than the rest of us. So don't waste your time.
- You just entered the school. School by itself won't get you anywhere, so why not start trying something while you're still a student?
- You died. Now that window has already closed.
Judging by this list, the window in our life for new ideas and business is open around the clock 7 days a week. Everything else is our excuses and fear of the unknown.
