Today I am acting in an unusual role for myself, trying to tell about the book "Whole Life. Key skills to achieve your goals" published by "Mann, Ivanov and Ferber". Despite the fact that I am skeptical of most books in the niche "Motivation, self-development, efficiency, etc.", I enjoyed reading and, frankly, I think that the book will be useful. It is difficult to call it irreplaceable, but the authors themselves admit that the ideas are not new, interspersing the text with links to different sources. However, they managed to convey their point of view on how to set a Goal and how to change themselves in order to achieve it in a rather concise manner (which is unusual).
What did I like? An immeasurable amount of "water" and general phrases, the absence of openly motivational and quasi-psychological quirks, the presence of sufficiently specific directives and auxiliary materials, such as tables and lists.
What didn't I like? The presence of some inconsistency in the text, and I do not know whether it is a consequence of the translation or the original editing, and ideas that "hang" a couple of times. But, I will make a reservation, this may be a consequence of my perception specifically.
I can safely call the book useful, moreover, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change something in their life. I'm just afraid that without a strong intention and the presence of some other literature, or even better, a person nearby, this book will not be enough.
But it is definitely worth three or four hours. You can even get it from the shelf several times later: there is something to remember and reread.
