In the build of Windows 11 Insider Preview 25977 found Windows 11 Preview Adds Support For Wi-Fi Password Sharing the ability to share Wi-Fi passwords using QR codes.

Modern versions of the OS have long allowed you to quickly recognize them in the appropriate section in the settings. Now the system generates a QR code for the selected Network, which allows you to connect a new device without entering any data at all.

We show it not only in the settings, but also in cases when the user sets up a mobile access point to share a network connection.

To get the code, go to "Settings" → "Network and Internet" → "Wi-Fi" → "Management of known networks". Then you need to select your Network and click "Wi-Fi Password". After that, a window should appear with the password itself and the QR code.

It is not yet specified when this feature will be extended to the public versions of Windows 11.
