Google Drive gets a new design for iOS and Android

Google has shown Introducing a new homepage in the Google Drive app / Google Updates redesigned main screen of the Google Drive app for mobile devices.

In the new version, the emphasis was placed on file recommendations: the "Recommended" section now shows many times more documents — at the price of previews.

The "Notifications" section has been replaced with "Activity". It allows you to view requests for access to your files, recent comments and responses.

The update began to be distributed on Android on November 6, and on iOS on November 10. All users must receive the new design within 15 days from the start of the update of the corresponding platform.
