WhatsApp users for Android have discovered an unusual bug. One simple link "breaks" the application."
It's about the link wa.me/settings — it usually leads to WhatsApp settings, but on Android it causes the application to crash. If you restart it, everything will be fine, but switching to a chat with a link leads to a new departure — and so on in a circle. At the same time, other correspondence can be opened and used as usual.
The problem manifests itself both in the standard application and in WhatsApp Business — but only on Android. It is reported that version 2.23.10.77 is affected, but it is possible that it also applies to other builds.
To fix everything, you can not enter the affected chat until the developers fix this error. You can also clear the history of correspondence through the context menu or delete a message with a link through the web version of WhatsApp or the client on the iPhone or computer.
