"Let me know" is a rubric for our readers' stories. Every week we launch a survey and are waiting for your comments. The most interesting of them fall into articles and collections.
Until the age of 20, I used only a compulsory medical insurance policy (CHI). It gives all Russians the right to receive free medical care. But then I thought about signing a voluntary health insurance contract (VMI). Various programs include medical consultations, examinations and tests. And all this in more comfortable conditions.
Before signing the contract, I read a lot of articles about how rational and profitable it is. And as a result, I realized that the purchase of a VMI policy is not such a useless solution.
It was important for me to regularly undergo preventive examinations with some narrow—profile doctors ‑ gynecologist, endocrinologist, orthodontist dentist — to take a blood test for vitamins every six months and do the necessary injections. And I was satisfied with my choice.
Tell me, how are things with you? Have you ever had to choose between MHI and VMI policies? How would you rate both options? What did you like more?
