Tesla CEO Elon Musk, using a meme, commented on the AR glasses Vision Pro from Apple. He hinted that they have a cheaper alternative.

On Twitter, the billionaire compared the augmented reality provided by the device with the effect of cheap hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Apparently, many users of the social network have the same opinion about the novelty of the Cupertino company — the tweet has gained more than 60 million views, about 800 thousand likes and almost 20 thousand comments. We have collected the best jokes under the post.

"Vision Pro glasses did not have any negative impact on me".

"I just finished working on a video using mushrooms, I can confirm that they work better than a VR headset."

How they should look like / What they really look like.

"I'm angry that I keep seeing your [Elon Musk's] tweets for no reason, but this one struck a nerve."

And some even forwarded the joke: they hinted at the high cost of Tesla electric cars and compared their cost with bicycles.

Apple unveiled Vision Pro on Monday, June 5. The company estimated the gadget at $ 3,500 (≈289,000 rubles). At the same time, it has very limited functionality and only two hours of battery life.

Many were also disappointed by its design — users expected compact glasses, but received an impressive-sized "helmet". The network even jokes that this is a diving smear, and not a VR headset.

The device will go on sale in 2024.
