ClipDrop has learned how to finish drawing images — like a new AI in Photoshop, but for free

StabilitiAi has added the ability to finish drawing images in the ClipDrop online editor. The new feature, called Uncrop, literally expands the boundaries of the picture, offering various options for filling the space.

ClipDrop works by analogy with Generative Fill from Adobe in Photoshop — based on artificial intelligence, which recognizes the scene and selects ways to complement it. We tried to expand a number of images, and this is what came out of it.

With simple tasks where the background should be more or less uniform, ClipDrop copes perfectly.

And here the service even figured out how to finish the car.

The more details, the more artifacts and "fantasies". But it still looks acceptable.

It is important to select images in high quality, because with "soap" there will be "soap".

The pictures are also in perfect order, but for a smooth transition, sometimes it's worth trimming the edges of the image before uploading.

A separate story with something not quite ordinary. ClipDrop can finish drawing something strange, but sometimes it turns out funny.

Another option with a Joker.

And here is a completely free fantasy.

You can use Uncrop for free and without authorization, but there is a limit on the number of downloaded images (already expanded) — you can only get 10. And to download, authorization will be required, for example, through a Google account.

You can remove the restriction by using a subscription that opens access to many other ClipDrop functions, including removing text and watermarks from images, replacing the background of objects, increasing resolution, and so on.

To try Uncrop, go to ClipDrop website and just upload the image file. Then click Next when selecting the size.

After that, options for finishing the carousel will be offered — you can scroll through them, choosing the appropriate one. To download — the Download button.

Try it and share the results in the comments.
