It's been over 50 years since The Beatles released their last song, The End. In 2023, the legendary Liverpool four are preparing to return, although only Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive.
McCartney said that he will soon release the "last recording of the band" with the voice of John Lennon. He extracted it using an old demo recording and artificial intelligence. He was helped in this by director Peter Jackson, who used a similar technology while working on the mini-series The Beatles: Get Back.
He [Jackson] was able to "extract" John's voice from a gnarled piece of tape. We had John's vocals and instrumental, and he was able to separate them with the help of AI. He tells the car: "It's a voice. It's a guitar. Put the guitar away."
The artist does not disclose the name of the new song. The Guardian suggests that we are talking about the song Now and Then, which Lennon recorded shortly before his death in 1980. The tape with it was given to McCartney by Lennon's widow, artist Yoko Ono.
