Apple Music has a discounted subscription

Users of the Apple Music streaming service can now subscribe for just 75 rubles per month. Only students of higher educational institutions can purchase such a subscription, which does not provide for any restrictions.

To reduce the subscription cost, users of the service need to confirm their student status using the UNiDAYS portal. When choosing a discounted subscription, the application will redirect you to the appropriate page, where it will require you to enter contact information, as well as information about the educational institution.

Preferential subscription

So far, the UNiDAYS database contains only a few regional universities and academies, the list of which will be expanded in the near future. For some unknown reason, there are not even leading Russian universities like MSU and MGIMO in the list yet.

Preferential subscription

Students of not only Russian, but also foreign universities can apply for a preferential subscription. Therefore, if fate has brought you to another country, the opportunity not to overpay for music will remain with you.

The only difficulty in registration is the need to have a university email address. In Russia, this practice is not yet widespread enough, so if you want to get a discounted subscription to Apple Music, we recommend contacting the dean's office of your faculty.
