Google has optimized Gmail separates ‘Report spam & unsubscribe’ to avoid false signals / 9to5google the process of unsubscribing from unwanted mailings in Gmail by adding a new button to the main mail interface. So, on mobile devices (first Android, and soon iOS), the "Unsubscribe" button moved to the main page and is now available even before viewing the conversation. Previously, it was in the three-point menu.

In the desktop version of Gmail, it also became more noticeable by moving to the quick actions panel, where there are already functions "Archive", "Delete" and so on.

At the same time, Google got rid of the combined "Report spam and Unsubscribe" complaint, making it two different functions. There is still one item in the menu, but now when you click on it, you can select either one or the other. In this way, the company wants to reduce the number of false signals.
