Since the end of February, online schools in Russia have begun to record a sharp drop in demand for their courses. On average, sales in the market fell by 30% at the moment, and by the end of the year they may decrease by up to 50%.
Market participants report that the reason for the decline was the unstable economic situation in the country. Many people were not ready to pay for courses of 50-100 thousand rubles when there is no confidence in the future.
Some, instead of paying for training, decided to use their free funds to buy electronics or other goods that may disappear from the market or become much more expensive. Others spent their savings on a trip abroad.
