One of the defining features of a productive person is the ability to make the most of his free time, wherever he is. Many of us, while traveling on public transport, standing in line and in similar waiting modes, like to pass the time in our smartphone, but they are not doing useful things there at all.
Someone likes statuses in social networks, someone sticks to the comics or laughs at funny gifs, but it's much more useful to take the same time with something that carries at least some semantic load. It's great if you use Google Reader, but it has drawbacks: you are locked inside your subscriptions and not the most user-friendly interface.
We found a very convenient reader called Webby for Android and iOS, which allows you not only to quickly access your sources of information on the Web in a pleasant way to read, but also cleverly offers sites and resources that will expand the collection of your favorite news and educational sites.
There are 3 tabs in the application, you can move between them with a simple swipe to the left or right. The "Top" tab predictably displays a selection of the most relevant and interesting publications. As you use the application, your preferences will be taken into account to compile a list of the Recommendations tab. By clicking on this tab, a list of resources opens in front of the user, the subject and content of which are similar to your interests. If you come across a material that you are interested in, but you want to read it later, then it is enough to mark it with a label, after which it will fall into the Bookmarks tab.
After reviewing the material, the user can quickly share it in most relevant social services and services, as well as add their thoughts and comments.
A very big plus of the application is that it practically does not need Internet access while reading. The settings allow you to set the automatic loading of articles into memory if there is an Internet connection.
The Android version of Webby is available for free in the Google Play Store, and the iOS version can be downloaded from the App Store (also free for now). You can also find Webby communities on Facebook* and Twitter.
