Dallas comedian Jimmy Thorne invited 300 rich people from his city to his wedding. Some of them unexpectedly responded to him and sent gifts. Now an enterprising American shares his catch online.
Jimmy admitted that he spied the idea on Twitter, and found the contacts of millionaires on the Web. He composed the invitations in such a way that the addressees did not doubt that a familiar person was writing to them. In particular, there was such a phrase: "I would like to see you again, because last time it was so much fun."
As a result, actor Adam Sandler sent the guy a postcard with his autograph, sports commentator Ernie Johnson — household appliances for $ 200. He received vouchers from a local food company for free ice cream and tacos. And the firm of one of the invitees issued a certificate for $ 250 to a local Tex and Mex Mi Cocina restaurant.
Not all millionaires answered, but there is still time — the wedding should take place only on June 4. Perhaps Jimmy still has surprises waiting for him.
