Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 are devices whose appearance is close to the premium S series, but which at the same time have a lower price and weaker technical characteristics. Each new smartphone is framed by a metal frame, has a characteristic oval button with a built-in fingerprint scanner, as well as a glass back cover, which resembles the flagship Galaxy S7.
The Galaxy A7 is traditionally equipped with a large Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and a resolution of 1080p. The diagonal of the A5 screen is 5.2 inches, the A3 screen is 4.7 inches, but with a resolution of 720p. The older A7 and A5 are equipped with a 1.9 GHz processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory with the possibility of using a memory card up to 256 GB. A3 performance will be lower due to a 1.6GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM.Photo capabilities have been significantly improved. A5 and A7 will receive front and rear cameras with a 16 MP sensor, A3 — front with an 8 MP sensor and a 13-megapixel rear. Smartphones will also have IP68 dust and moisture protection and a USB Type-C port that is gaining popularity (A5 and A7 will support Samsung Fast Charge technology). All three devices will ship with Android 6.0.16 Marshmallow.
The most interesting thing is that the updated line will go on sale in January, first in Russia, and later in other European countries.
