Universal Film Company has officially announced that it is developing a spin-off of "Fast and Furious" about Luke Hobbs, the hero of Dwayne Johnson. The actor himself also confirmed his participation in an as yet unnamed project.
This picture will not be a sequel to Hobbs and Shaw, but a separate project, which, according to the chronology of events, will become a "bridge" between the tenth and eleventh parts of the main series.
The script will be handled by Chris Morgan, who worked on six "Fast and Furious", as well as "Hobbs and the Show". The film will be produced by Johnson himself, as well as Vin Diesel and his sister Samantha Vincent.
It is expected that many of the main actors from the Fast and Furious series will also take part in the project. The timing of the start of filming and the release of the film has not yet been announced.
Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel had a long-term conflict, after which "The Rock" left the franchise and said he would not return. But not so long ago, the actors reconciled . It looks like Johnson demanded a spin-off for his hero for returning to the series. And after all, we agreed. What do you think?
