In this short post we will tell you about a habit that will help you change your perception of the world and, as a result, your mood. You need to change the way you perceive the past. For some reason, negative moments are most often remembered. Our goal is to leave as many positive memories about the past days as possible. To do this, you can use the following technique: at the end of each day, write down three positive things that have happened to you. This can be done in any program convenient for you or in a paper notebook.

This is how, for example, a record for the day might look like:

January 15th
Anton finally brought me a book to read, which he had promised for a long time.
We had a fun lunch with friends, discussed a lot of interesting things.
In the evening I had a wonderful walk from work to home, the weather was wonderful.

This technique is seen in the book by Sean Ahor The Happiness Advantage , in which he suggests taking tiny steps that will eventually lead you to a state of happiness.

It is also important that these notes become a really daily habit for you (if you are too tired in the evening, then you can fill out a diary in the morning of the next day). Try it, maybe filling out a diary of positive emotions will be a great positive end to the day for you!
