Buster Benson in his blog offered all his acquaintances, friends and readers an original bet.
If one of them catches him for one of the bad habits he has agreed upon within a month, then Buster immediately transfers him one dollar. The chosen habits included fast food and soda, alcohol with the exception of red wine, as well as 2 very vile social habits: a tendency to complain and talk badly about a person behind his back. Quite an up-to-date set, which a lot of people sin.
If you want to stimulate yourself to get rid of bad habits, try a similar strategy. Tell your family, friends and acquaintances about the habits you want to get rid of, and also determine the amount that will be received by the one who catches you for one of these habits. Just do not put the money earned from such a transaction into a "common jar" — there is a great chance that at the end of the bet all the proceeds will go to these very bad habits. Let the money go to the complete disposal of the person who won it.
Do you think such financial stimulation will work in your case? Or should I change the rules of the game a little?
