The biggest attention in this rather big multimedia application is paid to the library – it is made conveniently.
There are both paid and free versions. The skinable interface is a cross between Windows Media Player and iTunes. On the left – the data tree, on the right – the playlist, at the top and bottom – the controls. However, the view can change – from a classic player to a toolbar.
After scanning the computer for the presence of media files, what is found is lined up in a tree on the left, sorted by types, artists, albums, years, ratings, genres, placement. The player is omnivorous, supports a great many formats, mp3, wma, ogg, flack, tta, aac, mp2, mp4, wav, ape and others, as well as a great many video formats, codecs for which are installed in the system.
The player can not only play, but also convert audio and video (paid version Plus). It is also possible to record an Audio CD from the playlist data. The paid version also has advanced sound settings, additional filters, as well as a built-in MP3 Pro encoder. The player has a Jet Cast module for working with podcasts.
The program works in Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista, the distribution has a size of about 25 megabytes, there is no portable version, the interface is English.
