It is quite possible that the Flash multimedia platform will soon become available for iPhone users, MacLife magazine writes. Moreover, this information was already mentioned not so long ago by Kevin Lynch, technical director of Adobe, when he said that the full-featured version of Falsh will be supported by mobile devices. This, according to him, should happen by the end of this year.
The iPhone's support for the Flash platform will give the device the ability to process appropriate graphics, animations and movies. Nevertheless, there are already quite a few applications for the iPhone with a similar level of interactivity. On the other hand, a device that sees only the HTML part of the site when surfing the web cannot be called full-fledged, which is especially offensive in the case of the iPhone and its huge potential, MacLife experts say.
Lynch is also supported in his forecasts by Ted Patrick, the chief manager of the Adobe developer community. So is this still reality or just empty promises of the Adobe team? Time will tell, but rumors about the imminent implementation of Flash support in the iPhone come from very reliable sources, so we may see the technology in action before the end of this year. The new features of the phone will allow developers to create more interesting and functional applications, which in turn will have a positive impact on the sales level of the Apple Store.
And how do you feel about the possible appearance of a Flash on an iPhone?
