And instead of turning on the coffee maker by touch with your eyes closed or fumbling with your hand on the shelf in search of a French press, you start to wake up absolutely naturally 10-15 minutes before the alarm clock rings.

Coffee is a wonderful and refined drink that you need to enjoy, not turn into an alarm clock!

Therefore, for those who have no health problems, tip #1 — try to go to bed at least 1 hour earlier and then you won't need coffee. Unless only to enjoy the taste and have a nice chat with friends.

If you start to feel sleepy during the day, brew a cup of green or black tea — the effect is not so instantaneous, but softer and longer.

From my own experience, I can say that a good five-year-old Pu-erh is able to make it so that you will not be able to fall asleep during the night. The only thing worth remembering is that it is better not to drink this tea on an empty stomach.

For those who refuse coffee causes unpleasant sensations in the form of headaches, irritability, fatigue and palpitations (usually those who drink 5 cups of coffee a day or more), jumping off your favorite drug so quickly and simply will not work.

Tip #2. Green tea, hot water with lemon and even just hot water before meals helps a lot from the constant headache that many people have when trying to completely give up coffee.

At the same time, you should not forget that if you drank more than three cups of coffee a day, you may not be able to just stop right away. The psychological discomfort is also added to the physical one in the form of a headache. Therefore, it is better to gradually reduce the number of cups per day first, and then make the transition from coffee with less caffeine to caffeine-free. By the way, decaffeinated coffee is a great option if you like the taste and smell of the drink more than its effect.

Most often, the dependence on coffee is more psychological than physical in nature. It is important for people to observe the morning ritual to which they are accustomed. Therefore, if you have clearly decided for some reason to refuse to take coffee, replace it with something new.

You will still wake up in the morning, go to the kitchen and brew a hot fragrant drink, a cup of which is so nice to hold in your hands and think about plans for the coming day. Try herbal blends, pu-erh, rooibos, oolong, or plain green tea. And don't forget to get enough sleep ;)
