At the beginning of March, users of the Golden Crown faced the fact that they could not transfer money through the service. He simply rejected the cards of some banks. For example, this is what the application looks like when trying to enter Tinkoff card data.
After a while, the service itself came up with explanations. The "Golden Crown" reported "Golden Crown" explained the refusal of transfers from bank cards under sanctions / RBC that they really imposed restrictions on cross-border transfers from cards of some banks in order not to violate the sanctions regime of other countries.
The decision cannot be called unexpected, but we are more interested in the practical side of the issue. Golden Crown is a popular service. It is used by foreigners who work in Russia and send money to their family in other countries — mostly bordering the Russian Federation. It is in demand among Russians living abroad who cooperate with domestic companies. It is not always easy for both of them to find a bank that is not under sanctions and get its card.
But so far there are at least two options that allow you to transfer money through the "Golden Crown". We checked both.
Straight to the point: the payment on such a card through the "Golden Crown" has passed.
To get a Yandex card, you need to download the Plus Card application or act through the website. The algorithms are similar, so we will focus only on the application.
You need to log in to the application using the login and password of the Yandex shared account. If you don't have one, you need to register first. By default, you will be assigned an initial identification level, but it is not suitable for transfers, since the card will not have details. We need a basic level. To switch to it, you will have to fill out a short, uncomplicated questionnaire: full name, date of birth, passport data, TIN.
After that, you will find yourself at the basic level of identification and receive the card details. You can already enter them in the application or on the Golden Crown website, and then send the payment.

You can issue a card from OZON directly on the website or in the service application in the "Finance" section. But there is also a separate program "OZON Bank".
To get a virtual card with details, you also need to fill out a simple questionnaire with your full name, date of birth, passport data, TIN.
Further, the details can be specified in the transfer of the "Golden Crown", and the money will go to the recipient.
When the Golden Crown stopped accepting cards from some banks, users started looking for alternative cards. But it may be worth testing other services.
The main disadvantage that caught my eye: you send a transfer in dollars, and the recipient sees it in the application. But the money is credited to the multicurrency card in the local currency. The Golden Crown does not offer any options. If the goal had been such initially, the transfer would have been sent in the local currency. But with this approach, there are too many conversions, on each of which the user loses some amount.
So you can try different things, but with caution. When it comes to finances, it's better to overdo it.
