There is such a type of application as "expense recorder". Personally, when planning home accounting, I use the budgeting approach for the month ahead, but if this is not for you, then cost accounting is your choice. Of course, if you want to know in principle where the money goes, or just don't have an unlimited card from a rich dad. We have repeatedly returned to the topic of simple cost accounting applications, but the Spendee application cannot be missed because of the modern approach to the interface and the beauty of the solution.
The application does not have any cloud synchronization, does not know how to keep a budget together, and I did not find multi-currency in it. But it makes it very easy to enter expenses at the time of their implementation and analyze them right inside Spendee. In general, a good indicator of any such application is the speed and the ability to make a transaction while your card is being processed or the cashier is counting the change.
To what extent do such simple expense trackers seem really applicable to you and can they really compete with full-fledged home accounting systems?
