To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised to find in one of the magizans selling disks and other near-computer nonsense a licensed disk (okay, not a disk, but a DVD box for three disks) with a second diablo, in the corner of which the inscription PC/MAC was proudly displayed. Inside the box were three CDs and a small brochure quick reference. Inserting the disk with the game into the computer, I was surprised to find that the Mac version was understood ... correctly, the version for Mac OS Classic. After the first shock passed (even, really, I thought about the work of the game in parallel), Google was launched, thanks to which it turned out. that there is, they say, a game installer for Mac OS X in the world, which you can get here.
After launching the game with the help of a new installer, there were practically no problems, although a reasonable question arose: what kind of bad person decided to save 25 megabytes on the installation disk despite the fact that the installer itself has been for more than one year? I won't tell you about the game itself, since everyone interested has already managed to go through it length and breadth. I will mention only one unpleasant moment: even after a full installation, Diablo still rustles the disk and sometimes manages to slow down on a Mac mini G4 with a gigabyte of memory. P.S.: a picture of 640×480 on a 20” display is something :)
