Circuit Defenders: Another DTD

There is a replenishment in the "tower guards" regiment. The continuation of the traditions of Desktop Tower Defense has become Circuit Defense, a game that at least claims to be original. I will not retell the essence of the DTD, since it is familiar to many. If not, then a couple of minutes on Google will quickly bring you up to speed.

So, the plot… Wait, what could be the plot here? He is not. There is a chip (sic!) with laid tracks, capacitors and a Bluetooth chip, from which tanks and armored vehicles are rolled out from time to time. What does Bluetooth and tanks have to do with it? This is not a question for me, but for the developers, and ask them ...

I got distracted. So, from the Bluetooth chip to the Sector 3 chip (it's kind of like the developers), armored vehicles are crawling. Our task is not to let her do it by setting up all kinds of turret guns along the way. The joke is that the technique does not stupidly crawl along the tracks, but also shoots back, which in theory should radically turn the strategy. An fig. An unfinished gun is sometimes cheaper to replace with five new ones, and shooting is often conducted strictly on the first turret, which is replaced from time to time. A set of turrets is almost standard: a machine gun, artillery, a flamethrower, missiles and a laser that damages only the guided target. Plus a lightning thrower, a "healer" and a kind of "radar". "Freezing" is absent as a class, although taking into account the speed of the game, it can be controlled from time to time by removing the window from the background and making minimal changes: unlike other DTDs, it is easier to build an impenetrable line of defense here. Oh yes, "bosses" and "flyers" are also missing. You can't control the priority of targets, you can't move turrets, although the possibility of an upgrade has not gone away. A funny "trick" — the opportunity to look at the battlefield from the toolery is entertaining, but it does not bring any practical benefit. You can also create your own levels or upload levels made by someone else.  The About window still proudly boasts of Physix support, no hints of which, however, were noticed.

Separately, it is worth noting the graphics that really deserve praise against the background of many colleagues in the genre and the crooked interface, thanks to which you will remember the closest relatives of developers on the female line more than once.

The price of pleasure is from 10 to 20 dollars, depending on the version, only 3 levels are available in the demo.
