Xiaomi has introduced Poco X6 and X6 Pro debut with updated chipsets, 67W charging and longer software support / GSMArena two new Poco smartphones — X6 and X6 Pro. These are the first devices in the sub-brand line that have a fingerprint scanner integrated into the display. The new items have already gone on sale.
Both phones are equipped with 6.67-inch AMOLED panels with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness up to 1,800 nits.
The set of cameras is also the same. The main camera has 64 MP and provides 2X lossless zoom. It works with an 8 MP ultra-wide angle module and a 2 MP macro lens. The front one is 16 MP. It is located in a traditional O-shaped neckline.
The amount of RAM is 8/12 GB, and storage is 256/512 GB. And that's where their common features end.
The main differences are hidden in the chipset and the capabilities of the battery. The X6 runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, the X6 Pro runs on the Dimension 8300. The younger model has a 5,000 mAh battery, the Proshka has a little more — 5,100 mAh.
As for the OS, the usual six comes with the old version of MIIUI 14 (Android 13). It is promised to be upgraded to HyperOS in the future. The Poco X6 Pro runs on it out of the box. The manufacturer promises three firmware updates and 4 years of security fixes for both models.
Among other differences, we can also note the absence of a standard headphone jack in the firmware. It was left only in the standard version.
The Poco X6 is available in black, white and blue. Prices range from $250 to $320 (≈22,000 - 31,000 rubles). The Poco X6 Pro comes in black, grey and the signature yellow. The cost varies from $300 to $370 (≈27,000 -33,000 rubles).
