For some time there was an answering machine on my mobile phone, which triggered when I was not in touch or if I did not pick up the phone for more than 4 rings. But time passed and I realized that people are simply not ready to work with this tool by calling me.
When installing the answering machine, I thought that I would be more accessible, since now everyone could bring their information to me at any time of the day, but it turned out differently ...
I connected the service of my operator, which, in addition to the connection fee, costs extra money for every minute of work with the voice box, which is no longer pleasant considering that incoming calls in Ukraine are all completely free. The payment of incoming information was the first disadvantage, but not the most unpleasant.
Next, I recorded a voice greeting in which I said something like the following: "This is the voice box of Baransky Slava. Leave your message after the beep." Next came the beep and people had to dictate their messages. But how wrong I was!
70% of the callers, as soon as they heard my recorded voice, started saying "Hello, Glory, is that you? Ale... ale...". Some just breathed and puffed into the tube after that very "biiiip". And do you know what the worst thing is? I had to listen to all this in the voice menu, which does not imply selective listening — all the "ale" and puffing were my paid incoming information.
As a result, I gave up voice mail — I saved myself a few hryvnias a month and a whole mountain of nerves.
