Since winter has broken up in earnest, we are starting to look for more and more new ways to protect ourselves from the cold and strengthen our immunity. Ginger has become especially popular recently due to its anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating properties.
This time we decided to combine ginger, apple, lemon, lime, cinnamon and honey!
Ingredients. So, for 4 large cups, you will need 1 liter of water, ginger (a piece about 3 cm long and 2 cm wide) 3 circles of lemon, 2 circles of lime, 1/4 medium apple, 1 stick of cinnamon and honey to taste.
Preparation. Slice the lemon and lime slices into 4 pieces, peel the ginger root and simply cut into thin slices, peel the apple and cut into small pieces. Put all the chopped ingredients in a large teapot or decanter, add a whole stick of cinnamon and pour hot water. Honey can be added either immediately to the decanter, or everyone will add it to their cup.
If you like a combination of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, you can grind pieces of ginger with spices in a mortar and add everything to the drink. Only you will need to pour it through a strainer so that the pieces of cardamom do not fall into the cup.
