Neural network voice-over translation of broadcasts in Yandex Browser has become available for all YouTube channels. Five languages are supported: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
Now you can watch presentations of technological innovations and games, space launches, interviews with celebrities and much more live with translation and dubbing in real time.
This feature was added to Yandex Browser last summer, but it worked only on some YouTube channels. Now the technology is available on the entire video hosting. The developers have improved the quality of translation and prepared the infrastructure for high loads.
Translation of broadcasts works in open beta testing mode. Any Yandex Browser user can evaluate it on a computer, smartphone and tablet.
You just need to open a live stream on YouTube in one of the supported languages — for example, NASA Live — and click on the "Translate broadcast" button.
