This is a completely cross-platform program, free, works on all common platforms and has a localized interface. The main functions of the calendar are, in fact, the calendar itself, the task scheduler for each day, with an indication of the exact start and end time, a warning some time before the start (both an audible signal and a letter). All events and tasks can be grouped into categories (there are several dozen preset ones), and you can configure repetition. You can also create group events by inviting other participants. As such, Sunbird can be used as a simple project management application (in the case of using a server for shared calendars, iCalendar and CalDAV servers are supported). The program supports both removable themes and custom extensions, because it is built on the same basis as the Firefox browser and the Thunderbird email client. In addition to the usual program, Sunbird is also available as an extension for Thunderbird, in this form it is called Lightning. It has a panel «Events», which allows you to immediately evaluate all upcoming events and tasks. But integration with the Firefox browser is still in development.
Of course, the calendar planner itself does not organize your time, but if you decide to use Sunbird, this process will be simple and beautiful, and even free.
