Sometimes, thanks to our Hackradar, truly brilliant links and services are brought to our eyes. One of these services – Low Cost Map – caught our eye, thanks to Twitter user @vistrcm.
This service is a very simple mashup on Google Maps that will help you find budget flight routes. In general, low–cost airlines are airlines that base their business on low prices, which are achieved by optimizing air transportation processes, using secondary airports and limiting coverage to a region – it can be one country or region of the world (Asia, the Middle East or Europe).
The service does not allow you to immediately calculate complex routes or calculate the cost of a flight, but it will help you understand which low-cost airline has which routes and which destinations it serves.
For example, I want to fly to Goa. Click on Goa and you are shown which directions fly from this region. I was approached by the Arab Emirates:
Next, you need to understand which low-cost airlines fly from / to the UAE to Moscow or Kiev. And then I find a flight from Kiev to Dubai. It remains only to connect the routes and for half the price I get to the place I need.
Good luck exploring the World!
