Some time ago, while working on Linux, I was puzzled by the question of reading e-books. I came across this program and, as they say, got hooked on it. Perfectly made, convenient, beautiful, fast and versatile librarian. It can read texts of different formats: TXT, HTML, CHM, RTF, OEB, FB*2 and others. He can read books directly from ZIP, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2 archives, automatically detects encodings, shows pictures appearing in the book (which is not often found in such programs), Internet links and footnotes, has text search, word wrapping in compliance with the rules, and many other useful features and settings (for example, rotate the text by 90-270 degrees).
This reader is multilingual and portable, has an autocatalog of books being read and added. A great utility that I have been using for a long time. I work with it in Linux, then I got hooked on it in Windows, completely abandoning the monstrous and clumsy Ice Book Reader, there are also versions for smartphones and PDAs on various platforms.
In general, who needs a fast, convenient and beautiful library at hand — pay attention. I think this is one of the best programs in its class.
