It seems that the artificial intelligence created in Google is gradually starting serious work. More and more new services of the company are acquiring AI (Artificial Intelligence) support. It helps users to cope with those tasks that until recently could not be solved without human participation.
In Google Play Music, artificial intelligence will be responsible for selecting playlists. This will take into account not only your musical preferences and listening history (almost all music services are able to do this), but also your location or, for example, the type of activity.
To do this, Google Play Music will pull up data about you from other applications and services of the company. For example, if Google Fit detects that you are currently exercising, you will be offered energetic music for sports. If a signal comes from Google Maps that you are driving now, the player will entertain you with tracks that are most suitable for driving. In addition, the time of day, weather and a number of other factors will be taken into account when selecting music.
The smart playlist selection feature will take center stage in the new version of Google Play Music, and this, of course, will be displayed in the interface. Now, every time you launch the program (Web, Android, iOS), you will be greeted by specially created individual collections of tracks, albums and artists.According to the developers, a new version of the service and programs for various platforms will be available to users during this week. This applies to all 62 countries in which Google Play Music operates.
