For the 40th anniversary of its chicken nuggets, McDonald's has released a limited toy in China: a large plastic nugget on which you can play Tetris. It is noteworthy that this is not a fake or a fake, but a fully licensed product created in collaboration between McDonald's and The Tetris Company.
According to a review from a user from China, the toy comes in a cardboard box, stylized as boxes for real nuggets. The toy differs from other "Tetris" only by the McDonald's logo in the lower right corner of the screen.
In total, 400 thousand devices were released, and all of them were sold out at the start of sales on May 24. This is not surprising: you could add a toy to any order for just 30 yuan (≈340 rubles). The very next day, the same toys appeared on sale on Xianyu, the local equivalent of Avito, but for 60 yuan. At the same time, foreign collectors have already bought a batch of 137 "tetris" nuggets on eBay at a price of $ 32 apiece (≈2,600 rubles), at the time of publication, two new offers are available on the same site at the same price.
Officially, this toy is unlikely to appear outside of China, but it is quite possible that soon such nuggets will pop up in Russia — though hardly at the recommended retail price.
