Microsoft has introduced Windows Backup application with which you can create a backup copy of Windows 11. However, you can save it only in OneDrive storage, where only 5 GB is provided for free.
The new utility, unlike the system recovery function, allows you to quickly transfer settings, photos, files, passwords, and so on to a new computer. It also supports pinned applications in the Start menu and on the taskbar. After the transfer, all of them will be in the old place.
Our goal is to provide users with a familiar interface on a new computer in a matter of minutes so that they can quickly return to productive work.
The application can be found in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23466. However, it is not yet available to all users. When Windows Backup will become mass, it is not yet reported.
