Apple announced the closure of the service "My Photo Stream" (My Photo Stream). It will stop working from July 26.
In fact, this is an analogue of "iCloud Photo". It works on the same principle: it automatically uploads images from the last 30 days to the cloud and makes them available on all Apple devices. The only difference is that "My Photo Stream" retains full resolution only on one device, while on others it lowers the quality of images.
The company recommends that all users switch to the current photo library over the next two months, that is, to iCloud Photos (where only 5 GB are available for free). And just in case, save all your pictures into it.
To do this on the iPhone, you need to open the "Photos", go to the "My Photo Stream" album, select the desired images in it and click the "Share" button, and then save them to the desired folder. On a Mac, you just need to drag and drop snapshots from one application to another.
